Top tips for a great headshot ! arrive well prepared but don’t over think the result ! Leave a space for the camera lens and its honest eye, it may capture a something that may not have occurred to you. Save you’re thinking for the day and share with the photographer as the camera can see your best side and the real you. We have a chat before the session starts about what you have in mind & what you would like to achieve plus advice on hair/make up & what to wear. We don’t rush the shoot, plenty of time has been set aside so the session ends when we are satisfied with the result. Photos can be veiwed as we progress, or at the end of the shoot. Photos are then downloaded after you have gone and proof sheets are sent to you online within 24 hours. For the ladies, natural make up is the best, your own on a good day but if you prefer professional help for hair/make up It can be arranged.
Bring a good selection of tops, and bright colours if they suit you, bright colours wont distract from a good headshot. Suggestions of what to bring with you on the day will be sent to you with all the important details when you book.Try not to have your hair cut the day before, leave at least a week for it to settle. Bring an open mind & let the rest happen in the moment. Sessions are relaxed and cheerful, lighting & composition, all go in to the mix to make a special headhot.
